Tippecanoe Emergency Ambulance Services (TEAS)

In January 2026, I started looking through live streams of the county commissioner meetings and ran across a resident of the county attempting to get information about the emergency ambulance services because he was concerned about response times, unclear about how decisions were made, and what the county government's role is. The response by the commissioner that serves as the director for that governance had such a strange reaction to what seemed to be a mundane request for information, that I felt like it was a good spot for me to figure out more of how my county government works and how to navigate its structures. And so, I dove in and started trying to see if the response times were as bad as what this person was saying they were. I can say now that the whole thing is much stranger than I anticipated. I'm endeavoring to document this whole process here so that others can learn if they're interested.
