Update - July 20

Well, I tried to get an update from the Commissioners today about getting the county's records from TEAS, Inc., to follow up from my last public comment at the last meeting where I cited their statutory authority to go get their records. They've made it clear that they do not intend to go get them.

There are only three possibilities at this point:

1. These Commissioners have had no idea these legal requirements existed for the past 13 years (even though Tom Murtaugh says he literally made the Bylaws with the lawyers, and 2 of the 3 current Commissioners signed off on the whole thing when it was created).

2. The Commissioners knew these legal requirements existed but have been choosing to allow Franciscan to be in violation of state law.

3. These member meetings are occurring, and all of these reports, meeting minutes, and information is being relayed to the Commissioner attending them, and that Commissioner has been derelict in his duty to handle the records of the county.
