Got several things accomplished in April to get transparency:
Gave public comment on response times during the county commissioners meeting on 4/6 and called upon the commissioners to give the public information. Submitted public records request for the operational audit of TEAS as outlined in its by-laws.

Gave public comment on the 4/20 commissioners meeting, asking for answers on the business entity structure of TEAS, calling out the fact that the tax exemption application shows that there is no financial activity within the governance organization, no employees, no seeming proof that the commissioners are doing any governance whatsoever since they are unwilling to provide information.

Commissioner Murtaugh indicated there is no financial activity within this organization because of a complicated leasing structure that has been set up. Tried to stress that this sort of complicated legal maneuvering with no transparency only serves to deepen distrust. Commissioner Murtaugh relayed that pay scales in TEAS had recently been updated and that there was an additional ambulance going into service starting May 1st, but again, offered no proof.
Sent follow-up to commissioners explaining that there will be continued questions of transparency until the county makes a TEAS webpage, where it routinely posts the committee meeting minutes, yearly operational audit, and organization contact information for inquiries. Submitted public records request for the last several meeting minutes.
